Who we are
WxSW is a flexible and multi skilled consultancy group who utilise principles of Appreciative Inquiry, Collective Impact and collaborative approaches to addressing complex needs with our clients and partners. Although not an Indigenous organisation, WxSW has long standing expertise and a track record working with Aboriginal organisations and communities across regional NSW and Queensland including Local Aboriginal Land Councils, Community Controlled Organisations, Aboriginal Health and Medical Services and Indigenous owned and managed companies. This track records extends into collaborative relationships with both State and Commonwealth Governments and sharing a vision of improving the resources and capability of Aboriginal organisations to work with their communities to help improve the lives, health and prosperity of Aboriginal people.

WxSW sees a clear role in facilitating respectful engagement between Indigenous and non-Indigenous entities on matters including Reconciliation Action Planning, Aboriginal Participation Targets in industry and genuine Community Based Participatory Research into matters of shared interest.
WxSW is committed to assisting to reduce barriers to Aboriginal employment and career development and to increasing training, development and mentorship opportunities across a range of enterprises including construction and civil, science and technology, community services, Indigenous land asset management, economic development and primary health care.
WxSW works within the Closing the Gap Framework and promotes connection to culture and language, access to employment and real jobs, social and economic development and self-determination as being key protective factors for the social and emotional wellbeing of Aboriginal people.

Craig is an experienced Consultant and Manager of regional and rural not-for-profit, community-based organisations, Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations and Local Aboriginal Land Councils with a background of over 20 years in:
Darren Ah-See - Associate
Darren was born and raised in Wellington NSW and is part of the Wiradjuri nation which covers a large part of central NSW. Formal qualifications with a Diploma Government (Management) and Certificate 1V in Indigenous Governance.
Extensive employment experience in a diverse range of fields including Local Government, Department of Education, Department of Juvenile Justice, mainstream Health, Aboriginal Community Controlled health, Community Engagement with Mentoring Men, and Chief Operations Officer within the Local Aboriginal Land Council field.
Previous Board member of Greater Western Area Health Service, Western NSW Medicare Local, Marathon Health and more recently Western NSW Local Health District. Also held a position on the Clinical Excellence Engagement Advisory Committee of the Clinical Excellence Commission.
Darren is an accomplished manager well-versed in assessing risk, developing solutions, and implementing positive changes to achieve sustainability and growth in challenging and changing health sector environment. He is adept at supporting and developing staff including cross cultural training whilst building and strengthening operations and customer relationships.
Jock Grady - Associate
Jock is an experienced consultant and advisor with an extensive background in innovative technical and further education curriculum design, development and delivery. He has a focus on providing full stack services for small to medium businesses and has recent experience in the development of digital management architecture and communications systems for financial, industry (mining, telecommunications and energy sectors), community services and educational organisations.
Dr AR (Rod) MacQueen - Associate
An experienced medical practitioner and Fellow of the RACGP and RACP. Rod is an Addiction Medicine Specialist with a background an interest in Aboriginal Health Service delivery, primary health care and community development, Clinical and Organisational Leadership, Community Based Participatory Research, and critical analysis of evidence-based practice. Rod uses techniques of Appreciative Inquiry and Motivational Interviewing combined with a respectful engagement approach and curiosity to engage Indigenous people and their organisations in defining issues and collaborative strategies to address systemic disadvantage and inequality in service delivery, health, and social outcomes.
